Downtown YMCA - Green Bay Built in 1925 as a YMCA, it has been renovated over the years. Prior to 1980, residents were housed on the 4th and 5th floors, which today are used for storage. Several members and staff have been 20-something year old ghost who doesn’t notice others as he walks along the corridors. The man is said to be one of three men who died while living in the upstairs apartments.
Zuelke Building - Appleton Named after its builder, Irving Zuelke, for his music store, is now haunted by Irving himself. During a reception in 1990, a pianist not he 2nd floor balcony took a break and all the elevators simutaneously stopped working. When the pianist resumed, the elevators started working again. Was the cause music lover Irving Zuelke? In 1996, a cleaning worker was sweeping the stairwell when he felt a tap on his shoulder. Alex of Fire station 10 - Eau Claire Alex Arnie Blum (August 8, 1903- May 11, 1981) was a firefighter who died of Atherosclerosis at the age of 77. He was buried in the Scandinavian Lutheran Cemetery in Eau Claire. Apparitions of “Alex” have been seen by 80% of firefighters and it started shortly after Alex died.
Banbury Place - Eau Claire This labyrinth of 13 old buildings that were the Uniroyal Plant from 1917- 1992, manufacturing tires. Were workers accidentally killed? Building #13, an electrician was accidentally electrocuted while fixing the A/C unit after hours. His charred body was not found until a week after the incident. Now moans, screams, and electric hums are heard. Major fire broke out in one of the buildings though no records of this fire was found. Building #4 is chained shut and overrun with rats. If you make it into the building, an eerie presence frequently felt. Maze of underground tunnels. Homeless use the them for makeshift homes. They have spotted strange figures and shadows. Rumor of an bonded shoe factory that shut down mid-production. Partially assembled shoes, pieces of rubber, and open glue bottles were left behind by workers. A tenant growing marijuana, died of an accidental electrocution while attempting to put in an A/C unit. His body wasn’t found for two weeks. Sentry Food Store - Milwaukee After closing, a person will start talking to you when no one is there. Also shadows seen and a ghostly man walking down isles. National Asylum for Volunteer Disabled Soldiers - Milwaukee Commissioned in 1865, it began construction in 1867, the National Asylum for Volunteer Disabled Soldiers is located in Milwaukee. Its white painted church is haunted by ghostly figures of veterans. The theaters stain glass window reveals faces of fallen men. And the Wood Cemetery hosts many apparitions.

8/1/2017 1 Comment Haunted Bridges of WisconsinBloody Bride Bridge- Steven’s Point A young woman was killed on her wedding night in a car accident on Highway 66 Bridge. People have seen a woman on the bridge or in the backseat of their car, wearing a bloody wedding dress. Police officer reportedly hit a woman but when he went to help her, she was no where to be found. (NO RECORD OF DEAD BRIDE OR THE OFFICER SEEING THE GHOST) Legend states that if you stop your car on the bridge after midnight and look in your rearview mirror, you will see the bride and/or groom in your backseat. The Siren Bridge - Siren A young family headed home on County Highway B. Due to an unknown cause, their car crashed through a guardrail & landed upside down in the swampy waters below. A father, mother, and daughter were trapped inside. Trying to escape, they failed and drowned. Many drivers have reported hearing the voice of a young girl crying through the radio “Mommy, help me, I can’t get out” Charlotte Mills Bridge - Christie Following along a countryside road, passing Amish in their wagons, there lies a small road on the Southwest side of the bridge you can drive down to gaze upon the Charlotte Mills Bridge. In the mid-1800s, Charlotte Mills married Mr. Ransom and they had two lovely boys, Faye and Benjamin. While the boys were still in their youth, Charlotte’s husband died. She then remarried to Calvin John Mills in 1866 and they had a son Claude. Many years later, her eldest son Fay died of drowning, October 1901. Then a year later in October 1902, her middle child Ben died. Three years go by and her 2nd husband Calvin died of heart failure. Things were not looking up for poor Charlotte and she pondered all the deaths in her life one night in October 1907. Claude came home to an empty house and assumed his mother had left for a friends house as she often did. But days later they found her body floating in shallow water near the shore. Legend states that in the month of October, on cold nights, her ghost walks the bridge mounting her sons. 1.) An Iowa hunter encountered ghostly mist crossing the bridge October 31st 2.) In months following her death 8+ farmers spotted a nebulous, mists, and strange lights hovering over the bridge 3.) A farmer’s horse refused to cross the bridge as a ghostly figure appeared *The bridge has been replaced twice Red Bridge - Stevens Point DARE: Park your car on the bridge at midnight and shit off your headlights. The ghost of a woman will appear and walk across the bridge. *family of ghosts reported *car has been covered with dusty handprints Green Eyes Bridge - Augusta Almost a decade ago or during the Depression, a man murdered his family, then committed suicide by hanging himself off the bridge or girders. At night you can see his silhouette from either the girders or the bridge and gaze into his glowing green eyes Someone reported they stayed at a cabin near the bridge with friends. When they drove to Augusta for supplies they had forgotten, they returned to find all the ropes were ties into nooses and a mysterious shadow draped over the piano. They left immediately, leaving all their gear. Weary Bridge - Evansville Death on the Bridge 1) A young man “car surfed” & fell off on a nearby curve 2) Carload of kids sped around the corner and drove off the bridge 3) A young man was found hung on the bridge. Either suicide or lynching. DARE: If you park a car on the bridge at night & shut off the engine, it will fail to restart Strange things
Root River Bridge - Caledonia/Oak Creek A young boy accidentally drowned in Root River in the 1970s after playing in the woods. Late at night you can spot his ghostly image walking into the woods. Grant’s Park Seven Spooky Bridges - Milwaukee Grant’s Park is a 381 acre park and one of the oldest golf courses dating back to 1920. The Seven Bridges trail has the most spooky activity as many people have, supposedly, hung themselves or drowned. Hikers reported > a figure of a woman searching for her lost two sons > colored lights in the woods > loud breathing > chilling screams > shrieking laughter > misty apparitions |
